This is what it’s all about!!

Ronnie and Mikey had a stunning wee elopement up in the Cairngorms.

It was perfect!

What I love most about being a wedding videographer is that every couple are totally unique! At the end of the day, even though there are loads of traditions that will likely always be around when it comes to planning your wedding… It’s shouldn’t really be about that. It’s about putting your own spin on those traditions or even ignoring them and just doing what makes you happy.

If you hate wedding cake then don’t have one!

If you love wedding cake… Heck, have two!

If you don’t like traditional first dances at weddings then don’t have one!

If you’re a Scottish man who doesn't like kilts… wear a suit! F**k it, wear a onesie if it makes you happy! haha… Maybe a little too far! But you get the point!

I might be slightly biased because at my own wedding there was no cake or first dance… Aaannnd I was the ginger Scottish guy who chose not to wear a kilt (I don’t have the legs for it).

But the point is that it shouldn’t matter what you do as long as your wedding day is exactly what you want it to be!

I’ve always said that the worst thing you can do after getting engaged is to google “wedding checklist”… Because you’ll just find a huge list of things that weren’t even on your radar and then feel pressured into buying/booking them all. Instead, just have a chat, think about will make you happy and run with that idea!

And if you just want to get away from the madness and have a chilled out ceremony with just the two of you then go for it!

And that’s exactly what Ronnie and Mikey did.

Two awesome people (and the friend Charlie of course) with an incredible relationship having the most relaxed couple days in the Scottish Highlands before heading home as husband and wife.
