Kara & Nate - Drumtochty Castle

ABSOLUTELY 100% YES!!!!

Kara and Nate you actual legends!! This wedding was perfect to film! So perfect that I might need to use up my full annual quota of “!!!” just to emphasise it’s wedding videography awesomeness!!

Okay, so Kara and Nate are based in the US but came across to Aberdeen to get married and just experience some traditional Scottish loveliness! And they went completely full send!! I loved being their wedding videographer.

We had highland games, fish suppers, local whiskies and gins, loads of handsome gents in kilts, a castle, dramatic landscapes, scotch pies and Tunnock’s Tea cakes and wafers galore! So much awesomeness!

… Oh and a big ginger wedding videographer from Aberdeen who rocked up in some tartan trousers.

I spent two days with Kara and Nate. The day before the wedding they greeted everyone with the highland games and a good Scottish chipper before an evening hog roast, whisky tasting and s’mores by the fire… And just in case that wasn’t enough fun… They only went and got married the next day!!

The wedding day was beautiful. Pretty much everyone danced at all times. Outside. Inside. Music. No Music… Who cares? It was just such a blast to film! Then we went for an evening stroll up Cairn O’Mount to capture some lovely video footage in the gorgeous Aberdeenshire sunset! It doesn’t get much better than that!

… Oh and I’ve never been complimented so much for my tartan trouser (pants) wearing!! haha!

P.S. Small confession… Once I finished filming I ate one of your amazing donuts in full on the walk from Drumtochty to my car (about 100 yards). It was amazing! Thank you Simply Donuts. The perfect way to round off a lovely 48 hours!
