Okay, first thing's first...

Drumtochty Castle is awesome! But Caroline and Colin are even more awesome!!

This is one of those weddings that was just an absolute joy to film.

I met Caroline and Colin at a wedding show in Aberdeen in 2020 and jumped at the chance to shoot their wedding video at Drumtochty Castle. This was initially planned to be a wedding with a lot more guests in attendance but with restrictions in place, these guys made other plans and absolutely nailed it! They pressed ahead with a lovely, chilled out, intimate wedding and it was just stunning.

This was the videographer equivalent of being a kid in a candy store: a lovely sunny day, an incredible venue, chilled out family and friends who were just absolutely loving life! And then Caroline and Colin were smiling the entire day, having impromptu dances, drinking whisky together and going for a walk up Cairn O’ Mounth to explore the Aberdeenshire countryside and get some amazing video footage and photos at the same time.
